Cheltenham Festival 2023

For the third year in a row, Phenix delivered sub-half second video to hundreds of thousands of concurrent viewers for the Cheltenham Festival.

Through our partnership with Racecourse Media Group and Stats Perform, Phenix delivered video to dozens of sportsbooks throughout the U.K and Ireland serving more than 5 million punters as they joined their favorite Sportsbook within mere seconds of each other, for a true Watch & Bet experience. Northeastern University Sports Business & Innovation Network

We’re grateful for the dedicated, high-energy team we have here at Phenix. Our very own Pat Gilmore, Business Development Manager, spoke at the inaugural Northeastern University Sports Business Conference, along with Bill Yucatonis of Pro League Network and Matt Howard of KB Partners. Key themes from speakers on-stage included the importance of personalized experiences and the immense opportunity for cultivating authentic interactions among fans and athletes.

Google Marketplace

We're pleased to announce our availability on the Google Cloud Marketplace.

Phenix has built a partnership with Google over the past eight years, provisioning network and compute resources in real-time to meet the spontaneous demand often created by popular real-time streaming events. By using dynamically scalable cloud infrastructure from Google, Phenix offers its customers a way to immediately deliver compelling interactive video experiences without needing to think about expensive infrastructure build out, maintenance or operations.

Customer Win

Congratulations to CTCSP for their successful online auction of racehorses in 2022, which incorporated synchronized real-time video.

SELECT SALE, held in July, was conducted by Japan Racing Horse Association and Northern Farm Mix Sale in late October was by Northern Horse Park.

Phenix and CTCSP powered the real-time streaming service of the auctions to buyers who had difficulty attending the auction site due to Covid-19. Both auctions were highly successful.

Meet Phenix Support Engineer 

Jim Boyer

Jim has an AAS in Computer Networking and 15 years of experience in telecommunications and video encoding/engineering. 

He joined the company in 2021 as a Customer Support Engineer and is responsible for  supporting customers with managing and integrating the Phenix encoder into their workflow.

 
He is located on the east coast of Florida and spends time outside of work sailing and exploring beaches.
